Favorite thing to coach?

Strength and Rehab!

What do you love about coaching?

Seeing members find themselves, make progress, and fall in love with fitness.

What do you enjoy doing outside the gym?

Hanging out with my beautiful, soon-to-be wife, and hiking hard mountains!

Why CFCA?

CFCA is more than just a gym. It is an intentional community of moms, dads, students, first responders, teachers, busy professionals, and athletes who all understand that life is a gift and its important to train to make the most of it. Every workout here is challenging, but also very enjoyable when surrounded by people with the same goal; showing up and becoming the best versions of themselves.

Favorite thing to coach?

Push-ups! They are such a great movement that can be done anywhere. They are highly scalable. I remember how excited I was when I was finally able to do multiple reps in a row and do them in workouts.

What do you love about coaching?

Seeing people PR/get stronger/do something they’ve never done before!

What do you enjoy doing outside the gym?

Spending time with my two dogs, two bunnies, and god knows how many birds (chickens, ducks, geese, and a turkey at one point). Also, I love the beach, and really any party, bar, or fun event!

Why CFCA?

The members! On days I don’t want to train, I am motivated by seeing who is signed up for class and it lures me in!

Coach Dianne

BS from Salem State College, Registered Nurse, Crossfit Level 1 trainer

Favorite thing to coach?

I love coaching and programming challenging stamina and team classes!

What do you love about coaching?

I truly enjoy teaching! I also love seeing members enjoying themselves and achieving their goals.

What do you enjoy doing outside the gym?

Having a fun event to go to! I also really enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my grandkids!

Why CFCA?

The community, hands down!

Coach Jeff

Crossfit level 1, Mike Boyle Certified Functional Strength Coach L1 2026

Favorite thing to coach?

I enjoy coaching small classes so that I can give individual attention and focus on everyone’s form.

What do you love about coaching?

I love watching people progress. Seeing people excel and getting better, whether in form or technique or confidence.

What do you enjoy doing outside the gym?

Anything outdoors. Rowing, hunting, fishing, hiking, and walking my dog, Rocky!

Why CFCA?

Of all the gyms I’ve been a member of, none have had such a good community and family atmosphere like CFCA.

Coach Jill

CrossFit L2, CrossFit OLY Lifting Certified

Favorite thing to coach?

Strength work, especially when I can help someone make a small adjustment that suddenly makes a movement click. I also love a good team workout and the energy that comes with it.

What do you love about coaching?

I love helping people realize that they are stronger and more capable than they think. Whether it’s someone walking into the gym for the first time or a longtime member hitting a new milestone, I love watching people build confidence and do things they didn’t think they could do.

What do you enjoy doing outside the gym?

Spending time with my family and our golden retriever, Hobbs, watching my son play hockey, reading, baking bread, and my new hobby- needlepoint!

Why CFCA?

When I first joined CFCA, I had a small child at home and was looking for a community of like-minded people who were supportive and welcoming. I found exactly what I needed. Over the years, CFCA has become so much more than a place to work out. It’s a community that has supported me through different stages of my life, challenged me, and given me friendships that extend well beyond the gym. As a coach, I love being able to create that same experience for someone else.

Coach Kevin

Crossfit Level 1, Mike Boyle’s CFSC, BS in business from UVA.

Favorite thing to coach?

I love a good team workout with a bunch of different movements, especially ones that we don’t see often in regular programming, like sled pushes and sandbag drags.

What do you love about coaching?

I like helping people, motivating them to try something new, especially if it’s something that I can tell they’re going to be excited to tell their friends or family about. Like a mom doing her first pull-up, or someone who has never lifted weights before doing a heavy deadlift.

What do you enjoy doing outside the gym?

I love trying to keep up with my 7 year old son, going on our boat, playing soccer, and enjoying being anywhere outdoors in this little slice of paradise we call home.

Why CFCA?

The best workout you’ll ever get, the only workout you really need. The group format makes it way more fun and makes you more accountable, and sometimes makes you push yourself a little harder than you would if you were on your own somewhere else. The culture isn’t a bunch of lunks walking around comparing max bench presses. We’re just normal folks who want to improve our fitness for whatever life has in store for us outside the gym.

Coach Mark

CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Favorite thing to coach?

Barbell squats! I enjoy helping people improve their technique, build confidence under the bar, and get stronger over time.

What do you love about coaching?

The relationships, easily! I love making lifelong friends through the gym and helping people become stronger, more confident versions of themselves. Seeing someone accomplish something they didn’t think they could do never gets old.

What do you enjoy doing outside the gym?

Spending time with my family and doing pretty much anything active outdoors. Golf, hiking, walks, softball, pickleball- you’ll usually find me doing something that keeps me moving.

Why CFCA?

CFCA has been a huge part of my life since 2013. Its pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me do things I never thought I could, from completing a Spartan Trifecta and racing 15 miles at Killington to running the Mt. Washington Road Race and finishing the Blackburn Challenge. Doing them alongside fellow CFCA members made those memories even better. I’m so grateful to be part of a gym and community that has given me so much.
