With the weather starting to heat up, so are our members! One of the super cool things about CFCA is our location! It's the perfect place to get outside and participate in community events. As always, our members continue to crush it OTG! Saturday, May 14th marked the return of the annual Essex River Race! We had a handful of rad CFCA members who participated including our amazing Gig boat rowers, Monica, Leah, Whitney B., Gina. They took first place in their division. Woot.

Working hard in the gym to do cool stuff outside the gym! As always, we had a few members doing some cool stuff outside the gym last month. Mike Soucy ran a "small" race. A chill 32 miles in sand in Jupiter Florida last month! A 50K! Not only did he trudge through deep sand for 93% of the course, but Mike placed 3rd in the male division. Stellar achievement! If anyone has worked out at the 5:30am class with Mike, you won't be too surprised at this accomplishment! Way to go Mi

Betsy Lordan did the Spartan Race at Fenway in November with her friends, Emily and Kayla. She said she went in feeling confident in her ability to complete the obstacles throughout the race.
